As Seneca County residents consider who to vote for in the commissioner race, I want to remind them that Commissioner Bill Frankart has been fighting tirelessly for the health and well-being of our community since he was elected. Fostoria and Loudon Township residents fought the WIN Waste landfill alone until Commissioner Frankart stepped in to help, and he became a powerful voice that refused to be silenced.
Commissioner Frankart testified at the Statehouse to create legislation to empower our fight against the landfill, advocated for us to the Ohio EPA, collaborated with State officials for our protection, and spent countless hours working in any way he could to help us. Most importantly, he was accessible to us 24-hours a day. He visited us in our homes to learn about the ugly effect of the landfill on our families, and his phone is always on so we can connect with him whenever we need him. Not many elected officials can say that.
Please vote for Bill Frankart for commissioner in the May 5 primary. We don’t want to lose one of the greatest advocates – and greatest friends – Seneca County has ever had.
