Green Springs – 12/1/2021 — Sand Ridge Farms welcomed visitors from the area for the Agriculture Leadership Conference at the end of November. The Clyde FFA and Clyde Young Farmers partnered with the Frankart’s to organize a night of program updates from youth and heard remarks from an impressive list of guest speakers.
The night kicked off with a “meet, greet & eat”, before guests heard from the line-up of speakers including:
• Joe Blystone – Candidate for Ohio Governor
• Rodney Creech – Vice Chair, Ohio Department of Agriculture
• Bernie Moreno – Candidate for US Senate
• JR Majewski – Candidate for Ohio’s 9th Congressional District
• Gary Click – Ohio Representative, 88th District
Frankart’s opened up their shop for the event that was well attended by area FFA chapters.
“We were honored to host this event. Opportunities to bring everyone together to talk about issues facing agriculture are important. We want to ensure our kids are prepared as they enter the workforce. From what we saw tonight, the future is in good hands,” Frankart said.
